We just need 2 more pre-payments to break even our rm18k track fee. As we're capping our max number of cars at 40, and there are 42 registrants here, priority of joining will be given to the first 40 cars who pre-pay for this track day, whereupon we'll close the registration, regardless of how early you have indicated your name in the list above.

For integrity to our promise on not overcrowding our track day, we will strictly not accept pay-at-the-door entrants. For anyone who intend to do that, please do give me a call to check if we still have slots left before you set off.



The other thing is, remember we have about rm6k in reserves. If we have 40 prepaid cars for this track, on paper we can return some money, like 50-200rm each car. I can do that, or do you think we should carry on to build up our reserves to our initial target of about half a track fee booking (rm9k) and then maintain that from then on? Democracy here. Your thoughts? Or, build up a very strong base of funds (close to our 18k full track booking fee), and from then on limit our track days to 30-35 cars? Or any other ideas?

To add in another consideration of track day date reservation, remember we always need rm5k to book the next date from sepang. Have 10k in reserves allow us to book 2 slots. If we build our reserves to 20k, I'll be able to block out 4 track days for the whole of 2011. Which will make us comfortable. Blocking out dates early, also allows us to choose good dates. Like weekends, or fridays, before other people reserve them, so that a bigger scope of members here can find time to participate.

Once we settle on a target reserve amount, in the future, any subsequent track days, the moment we have collections above 18k, we can do an immediate refund to every car on the spot during the tracking. comments?

I have just about enough Sing dollar prepayment here to change to ringgit already, so i shall go ahead to swap on Monday. Unless there are majority views on the otherwise, I shall also carry on to accumulate our reserves to rm20k then, for the sole purpose of 2011's track day bookings (and the rest of this year's too)

Guys we are full. We have 23 early bird and 17 regular rates. The track day registration is closed.

If you have friends here who have placed their names but not paid up yet, please advise them that we will not allow any more entries on that day itself.

For those who are on the waitlist here, if there are any cars that do pull out, we will give up the slot by order of interest.

For newbies, (those whose trip to Sepang International Circuit is their 1st, 2nd or 3rd time) please gather at 830am for a newbies briefing. For lao jiaos, the briefing will be at 845am sharp. Please everyone, follow this time well. The last track day we actually went out late coz there were too many latecomers, and the registration table was full, safety brief had to start late, and the collective man-hours that was lost was all wasted. Newbies will also have an "X" taped to their front and rear windscreen. Forum rules. Also, every newbie must have at least some seat time (at least 3 laps) with an experienced trackkie, to make sure that the proper track habits are inculcated, right from the start. I will not be tracking, so, I will be able to spend 15mins with each car if needed.

Guys, anyone interested in renting transponders from Sepang? I have received enquires for it so am opening up this option.

Sepang charges 3000rm for a set of 20. So it's 150rm per unit.

If we have 20 interested parties, we can go ahead with getting the set when we arrive in the morning. If we have close to 20 parties, we still can go for it if everyone else dont mind forking out more. Basically it will be 3000rm divided by number of interested parties.

Quite a number of registrants here are friends of members who do not come here. So, those who invited them have to call them up to suss out the demand, otherwise, I'm pretty sure we will not be able to make a significant demand number.

We have up till the day itself to collate and decide. Payment will be on the spot. BUT PLS DONT DUA IF YOU ORDERED.

As for timing printouts. It definitely will be available after the track day. If they cannot print out in time, I'll post the soft copies. I shall also explore if I am able to get printouts 1.5hrs into the track day. So you can see some timings during the track day itself. But boh pao la.

GUYS, please remember to print out the indemnity form and pre-sign it so that we can alleviate the registration table crunch. Passengers also need to sign. Pls print for your friends and pass it to them at the rest stop or something. I will also bring some to pass around.
