Minor Mod To-Do List (pls advise bros)

Hi guys,

Collecting my 08 523i XL soon, here are some small mods I want to start with, need your advice & recommendations on where to do them& how much. thanks in advance!

1) Interior trim - change from 'wood' trim to aluminium or silver trim
2) currently, stock angel headlights are yellow lights, want to change to white
3) boot cover lip, just a mild one, don't want huge spoiler
4) GPS unit, probably Garmin. Got model to recommend?
5) iPod connectivity for mp3, preferably can control from steering wheel buttons
6) DVD player with screen on headrest for my kid to watch barney shows on journeys

Haha, wah, relax bro, too much poison already... Haha. Gotta do mods that make wife n kid happy first.
Probably rims next but will go on 19 inch instead of 20 inch. The M5rims is 19 right?

there is a good write up on Digital Life yesterday about GPS.
I found Tom Tom to be more accurate than Garmin.
Holux is acceptable.
What I dislike about GPS is they send you on the wrong
big detour.
Consider Google Maps Navigation except there is data roaming charge

my idrive no gps leh. At least for 2008 523 don't have. ours is the shorter screen.

there is a good write up on Digital Life yesterday about GPS.
I found Tom Tom to be more accurate than Garmin.
Holux is acceptable.
What I dislike about GPS is they send you on the wrong
big detour.
Consider Google Maps Navigation except there is data roaming charge

welcome to e60;s world buddy....i just changed my yellow lights to LED white cos one of it blew after 3 years! go look for BIMSHOP at Beo Crescent block 38. (Good teochew porridge around the corner at havelock area).
Look for Steven, he'll take good care of ur ride, but ain't cheap also hor....but good stuff la..comes with warranty somemore....

Thanks bro! That shall be the first mod i do upon collection. Besides the angel rings changed to white, did u all change the main headlight to white too? Will look funny if never change too right??

agreed bro. i chanced upon Bimshop some time back, owner seems to be quite a friendly person. Will visit in future if the chance arises!
