The other day i went to sim lim square and saw this motorola talkie talkie.. exactly the same as wat the members are using...costs ard S$80+ to $90 for a set of 2 and tempted to buy but it said for export only.. what does it mean ah?

ot: the walkie talkies are illegal for use in SG due to frequency assignment issues. a person caught using in singapore can be fined up to 10,000 per set, because they have not been approved by IDA for use in SG, mainly due to the amount of channels they can transmit on which infringes on their controlled frequency spectrum.
