NEAR Chicago... I said Chicago so easier for you guys to reference. It's actually Naperville which is about 1 hour west. Near Outlet Mall!

Not sure if that means anything to you guys. :)

Penang is a restaurant name and Arlington Heights is a place? I also need to know all eating places...

Re: Moving to USA. Which Beemer to buy?

when are you going over to chicago?

a good place to research is craigslist for your area. unless you have established credit, it might be a little bit difficult to get loans for the car. not impossible, just be prepared to put a little more downpayment. cars are cheap, so no big deal. for your area craigslist is chicago cars & trucks - all classifieds - craigslist

i'm moving back to sing end of the year. got 2 cars to let go.
2008 bmw 135 alpine white
2008 toyota sequoia 5.7 SRS. (8 seater + luggage) black
But I am in San Francisco.

good luck on your move.

Re: Moving to USA. Which Beemer to buy?

Penang restaurant is a Malaysian operated place so its the closest thing to Singaporean food...it used to be in Chinatown...they have since moved to Arlington Heights(more residential) about 25miles from downtown Chicago...

clothes...shoes are much more affordable in the USA...so don't worry about packing too much...
go to the premium outlets for cheap Polo Ralph Laurens...Timberland...Nautica...Reebok...Adidas shoes...

Chelsea Premium Outlets - Our Centers

Do go to North Face(its cheaper there than Suntec) for your winter wear needs...only remember their outlet store in Woodbury NY...so in IL area...head on down to

Sherman Plaza 1600 Sherman Avenue
Evanston, IL 60201
(847) 733-0875
John Hancock Center - 875 N. Michigan Ave
Chicago, IL 60611
(312) 337-7200
The North Face - Store List

expect to pay about 17-30usd for parking in downtown area upon entry to about 3-4hrs and above.

Thats pretty comprehensive.. Which college did you go to bro? I graduated from Purdue (about 2hrs away from downtown chicago) in 2006.. Last time I went there, Penang was still there. Dim sum around there was pretty good as well. Loved my visits to Chicago.. normally took a few for shopping and food every semester with my buddies..

Re: Moving to USA. Which Beemer to buy?
