MY 523i XL aircon vent blocked during driving.

anyone encounter this? It is fine when I drive until approx more than 30min, there are something like block the air go out. I try to turn temperature to lowest and increase the fan speed but remain the same. I can hear the wind or feel the cool on the vent but seem like something block the cold air to go out. Funny is that when I start my BMW next day. It seems everything is ok but same preoblem comes if I drive approx 30 min to 1 hour (on and off engine)

Any pro can tell me what should I do? I bought this car 2 day ago and still new for everything. I don't even know where to repair my car except PML which I assume it is very expansive.

U need to service your Aircon...too much jelly blocking the coldair from coming out thus internally became ice liao...

Thanks for the answer. So you mean when I on my aircon, for a while, the jelly block the cold air when it freeze? It turn ok on the next day and the jelly did not turn to soild.

May I know where can I service my aircon for BMW? Or any workshop will do?

Had this issue before and they had to replace a "relay" of sorts. Feels like the aircon is blowing but nothing came out. It only happens after a while with ac on and for longer distances.

The jelly is blocking the cold air from coming out hence it freezes up inside therefore u can hear the loud blower sound but no air from your air vents .
Once the ice melts u will be able to get cold air again but again it's freezes up ...no air again...
I encountered this when I was on my way to Genting years back ...came back and went to a shop he did cleaning and woolaa...ok liao....

I had similarity as yours. Spoken to 2 car workshop they give me expensive advise. Later that I discovered my AirCon circulation is switch to auto & at time caused the block but sometime it's fine. Switch to AirCon circulation into non auto, if not then check your AirCon filter if it's time for change. Still don't work be prepared to look for AirCon specialist for a check.
