The car look much better than picture.

However, all accessories may vary with the actual car you are going to buy.

Especially the 18" Rims :(

So its more like WYSINWYG.

Think may only be free some time in April to drop by PML to take a look at the car.

Sorry ! What is WYSINWYG ? :ehhh:

All display car are with 18" Rims :(

But when you purchase the 320i will come with 16" Rims :naughty:

Frankly speaking, if they display E46 Sport Edition with 18" rims beside the E90. I believed the E46 will look good too.

WYSINWYG = What You See Is Not What You Get

Cheers! :wavey:

in PML's case, its what you see is never what you get. heheh

anyways the 18" rims design is quite sucky. there's no beautiful xenon with advant garde "floating" angel eyes, no idrive, no rear window shades, etc. although BMW makes excellent cars, the cars that we import as standard do not contain many "options" that now come standard on other make of cars.

but that said, if i ever do get the new car, i'll order it in it's lowest spec, get some cash back, and go get OEM or aftermarket parts myself. cheaper this way.

That's standard practice for PML right? Like the E60... really simple, no options as standard till later in the product cycle?

Went yesterday...... 8)

The staircase view damn happening sia........

Anyway, the sports suspension (option) on the 325 is nice and low for factory fitted height on a sedan.

And yes, the Xenon with angel eyes.....SIBEH SUI!

hi all,

IDrive ($7-8K). Bi-xenon lights that see corners (2.5K). Comfort access - complete keyless entry (2.5K) ..... all are options on the 320!!! even rear nets behind front seats are 600 bucks... :errr: :( :(

okay, we all don't buy until they reduce price by 50%? swee swee.... they will be launching the new e60 this may/june, since the e90 looks so similar to the e50, maybe the pricing will come crashing down soon.

I don't know if thats fair because the normal bi xenons cost only a few hundred bucks in Euro. Hmm.. You mentioned adaptive headlights though so maybe its fair afterall

Hi ! Redwind.

If I am in your shoes with S$180K budget, I will go and buy the E60 520i.

Once PML sold all 520i there will be no more 520i.

All new E60 will be 525i onwards. As usual the price will be more expensive.

Imagine, E90 325i cost S$180K, I believed the New E60 525i will cost S$200K :(

IMHO :)

chipping in my 2 cents here,
comparing 325i and 520i is like comparing apple to orange if i may.
if one goes for 325i he or she probably looking for an exciting and highly spirited drive capability vs. point A to B comfort ride. So if the former is the true desire then a 520i won't do for him or her.
The new engine on the 325i seems potent making is a true match for the old 330i non valvetronic performance or at least in the 0-100kph dash performance.
IMHO if one is serious on the e90, he/she should give the 320i a miss for now until PML settle the option list. for now 325i is an ideal entry level here eventhough it seem overpriced for competition

hi winston,

swee swee.. lets play the "see who blink first" game!

hi zaq,

true.. think that the new 523 (actually a detuned 2.5litre -- abt 183-185bhp) will not be as good to drive as 325 (218bhp)

tsk tsk tsk... display 18" rims but sell with 16" :naughty:

I think almost any car with nice 18" rims would look good too. :inlove:

Cheers

I think they say the basic model will be a 523 onwards. Buy a 1 year old 520 nowadays for 140k!!!! Thats the price dealer are offering for a 1 year plus 520!

Hi Redwin,

I hear their launch till now may not be up to expectation, many lookers but few buyers, but its still early at this stage... most claim the new 320 way overpriced and too few options given as standard. Maybe after the launch they will greatly reduce the pricing? swee swee for us?

I feel that the new e90 they much room for a facelift, look at the dials for a/c, its like deja vu back to the e46 series. the facelift will come with electronic controls vs the old style knobs.

After all that is said, I guess the first few owners will feel damn good being the first batch owners! Congratulations if you are!

Hi all,

Did a search and found the downloadable catalog of the E90 off the BMW International site, for the benefit of those who haven't gone down to Padang:

Hi all,

So what will be the estimated lowest price pml will offer for E90 325? What is the std and options in 325(eg. active steering, sports suspension, adaptive headlight, etc)? Anyone buying?

hi silver 31,

hrd 182K is the lowest. (with 100K loan).
no adaptive headlights and no sports susupension.... (not sure abt active steering though) and not even the net on the rear seats to hold magazines!!!
for that it will be another 700 bucks!!

Hi redwind,

Thank you. Then better wait for a while to see if there's any changes in pricing and packages.

Yo,

Just went for the preview today... Basically if you add this add that, i think damm expensive....

So gotta wait for the launch and consider 2nd hand 325ci....

Truth is that e90 damm nice.... but $180k for 325 sounds expensive...
$15k down with 7 year loan at 2.5% works out to be $2400 per month... affordable but would i wanna pay for a nice exterior and mediocer interior car?

Experts...what are the cars i can look at around $180k?

;)
