My F20 currently in PML for rectifications.. Sianz..

Just returned from Europe after abt 2.5 weeks.
First day of driving, wiper cant do a auto clean swipe (aka wiper can stop in the middle of the windscreen)
Auto start/stop button also mulfunction (aka cant press on/off)

anyone encountered this before? :thinking:

The auto wipe is always crab for this car. Never once operate porperly.

Hi Nighthawk,

Did u get anybody to start ur engine when u were away? I think at least have to let engine run every alternate days to get the mechanisms functioning well. Anyway, PML got loan any car for the time being and how long will it take?

Sorry to hear about the faults. My car also going in Sept 1st week to check the erratic nature of start stop. Was told at diagnostic check that start stop is not working on 2 profiles in i-drive so they are going to reboot and do software chk.
Update us on yr car outcome.

That is terrible. I left my car in SG for a month and other than a flat battery, and dust etc its fine. Was it under shelter ?

nope.. totally shut down for 15 straight days..
tot it might be because of this, causing the malfunction.. :thinking:

driving the loaned car X1 (non-turbo one)

say will update me, so dunno how long will take.. haiz

I got the same issue after collected my ride for only a week and had to wait for the part for 3 weeks

sorry to hear that bro...but guess got to warm up the car once in a while ...if u r going for long trips get ur buddies to start ur car lor....tats wat bros r for....my gd fren also help me when i not arnd vice versa...

I am already driving the X1 for 5 days.. hmmm.. the pick up really slow compared to F20..
think i'm loving my f20 more.. haha

Think they need to replace the FEM on your car, happened to mine as well and SA say F20 also got this problem

Yes, FEM so call Module and control wiper.
