Re: My F30 Mod today

I believe at 22K, we can do a lot of things outside. Only the rims, brakes and interior trim attract me.

BMW Asia see Singaporean as cash cow, can milk any amount they like

Re: My F30 Mod today

M Performance interior panels abt $1,550, $200++ for the carbon lever for the AT knob, from Munich. PML sells at a higher premium from the price list.

I'd suggest a cash and carry scheme, both agents have high install costs that makes no sense to me. I din bother to check the price for installing the front black grills when I sent in for checks on wind noise, and I got a rude shock of $142 labour for the grills install. CRAZY :singsing:

Re: My F30 Mod today

The custom carbon wrap looks good, did the installer wrap it with the parts intact or remove them prior to wrapping? The former act might render the vinyl peel over time, I diy such on my previous Audi S4 and got such issues kekekee wrapping a removed part is by far the better method, troublesome but lasting.

I am the installer, its pre cut, so I just peel and paste. That explain the lousy workmanship.

Re: My F30 Mod today

Hi Bro Simville,

Nice done up. How much did you pay for the CF wrap and how long it takes to deliver?

Thanks!

Re: My F30 Mod today

I can't remember the total cost, 86 is for the CF wrap with some discount coupons.
Total is 100+ SGD

If cash & carry, and install it elsewhere or even self-DIY, does it make sense (think Warranty)? I believe other parts supplier sells some of the items cheaper

Take the M perf brake for example, all in can get one set in US for US$2.4K+shipping... SG (PML) is selling almost double the price, and PML actually quoted another horrible amount for installation.

Yeah ordering it fm overseas vendor might be cheaper and can save more, prob at a later stage now. Many parts r facing shortage issues and I dun have experiences dealing with OD so not now.

Panels etc no issues, but I'd rather order BBK locally, at least u have someone to blame if there r problems hahaha

Re: My F30 Mod today

Are there any nice add ons or mods available at Munich currently? Feel like making a trip down and I can use my vouchers wahaha

Another source is Eng Soon. They might be cheaper, cash & carry. The grills are not too difficult to install, $142, a hole in the pocket. Did they waive the charges in the end?

I belive Panels have to ordered locally or from HK/UK cause we need RHD panels.
For brakes, I think we will have to go for PML or Munich if we want the warranty.

thats a good price, better than u paste and cut hehee

I tried cutting and paste, failed.... and realize for that amount of time used, its not efficient. Rather buy and paste.
