Hi.
I have fallen in luv with cabrios ever since my stint in amsterdam for 3 yrs.
Before that I have never given a cabrio a second glance, just like when you have no kids you don't know how it is only after you have one. Still don't get it? Never mind...
Anyway, I drove a mazda 121 funtop when I was there and it was April to June that I have got the car. The idea of having an open roof was such a fantastic feeling that it just got into me about cars with no roof after that.
Coming back to Singapore, for practical reasons got a pre-owned renault scenic, but like men who are married, I would always steal a glance or two at cabrios that parked beside me at the traffic stop...
Anyway an opportunity came, my fellow expat colleague left the country and me kindly with a E36 Cabrio 318iA of 1996. 6 months left before scrap so took over to fully utilise it.
Got the car this evening, opened the roof just before going up the Bj Shr bridge towards the east.
As the car climbed up to the top, I just realised that the sky never looked so beautiful on top of me !
Cheers !
PS: thanx to Raffles for your guidiance
