My pathetic BBS RK II

my rims are in pretty bad shape. the lacquer seemed to have corroded and peeled. as a result, the brake dust get imbedded into the rims.
this how it looks like

was told have to sand down and respray, problem is, will not be able to get back the same look as the original was matt metal finished..

any suggestions?

the one next to serene centre?? didn't know they repair rims, thought they sell tyres and rims only

yeap..they repair rims too.....they will loan u one set of spare rims if you ask them nicely.

Yours is polished lips - can be repaired, as long as no kerbs. Just sand it down and polish it.

tks for the replies, but as the RK 2 is a 2 piece, it may require some skills and knowledge of the wheels. maybe better off without dismantling and just do a sanding down
will check with hurry first

As far as possible, do not dismantle it, assuming it is not welded. The centrepiece can be resprayed, the lips can be sanded and polished.
