My unlucky day

Woked up late and extra blur, no doubt due to the strong milk tea I had at Macau Cafe last night.

Tried to pump tyres last night, but 1 corner very strange, air doesn't seems to go in (smtg wrong with the valve stem?) Made it a point to check out this morning when I pass any tyre shop.

Went up Stevens Rd and onto PIE (west bound)... FWAH. Heavy traffic immediately, EMAS advised an acc ahead, jam till Clementi too! Yikes. Promptly got off at Farrer Road... maybe I'll go via Bt Timah Rd then W'lands Road up instead. Right after exting the PIE, saw a row of cars shortly in front. Tot there was an acc or taxi picking up passengers so went 1 lane right. Then I found out... knn, that's actually the long Q to go onto Bt Timah Rd! :furious: Bopian, I NEVER use this road in morning peak hour traffic.

So I continue going, till I reach Holland Rd. And AGAIN, at the T-junction with Clementi Rd, the tailback was like at least 500m?? :furious: :furious: Needed 6 cycles to finally clear the lights!

After SP, went up the overhead viaduct, where there's a short curvy tunnel section after. A cab was slow on the right lane so I overtook on the left. At the last possible moment, he "ate" into my lane, just as I was about to pass him with a speed differential of 30+ kph. Freaking had to e-brake and horn at the same time! :furious::furious::furious: Think I missed contact by 1 foot or so. He moved back fully into his lane and when I passed him, surprisingly he waved sorry; at least he was aware of the near-miss... hhm.

Travelled up W'lands Rd and went into the Caltex petrol kiosk. Unfortunately the tyre shop there was busy with 2 pickups! :furious::furious::furious::furious:

So now I'm in the office. Late, tyre anomaly unsolved, and one hairy near-accident to boot...

This is my unlucky day (so far)! How is yours??

Haha, maybe that's the regular peak hour traffic, but I really have NO idea it was so bad. Usually my morning route is PIE, BKE or CTE, SLE.. no ERP, light traffic too. So I guess I'm thankful for smtg.

As for the near-miss just now, can easily go into my personal list of top 5 heart-stopping moments in street driving.

very noticeable.
my daily commute - same time/route, along Bukit Timah is double stressful.

An unlucky day will start like this:

Woked up late, realised I lao sai on the bed, spent another 30 mins on the toilet bowl and shower to clean up, no doubt due to the strong milk tea I had at Macau Cafe last night. Left the house realising I forgot to clean the stain on the bed......

Tried to pump tyres last night, but 1 corner very strange, air doesn't seems to go in (smtg wrong with the valve stem?) Made it a point to check out this morning when I pass any tyre shop. Walked to the car and realised that tyre is flat. Totally. Seow liao.

Borrowed a foam pump cannister from my neighbour, managed to fill-up the tyre, thinking of driving to nearest tyre shop for remedy. Went up Stevens Rd, PIE (west bound), Farrer Road, Bukit Timah Road, W'lands Road blah blah blah, all jammed up. Meanwhile my stomach was churning the Macau baked rice last night, and I suspect I stained my pants. And perhaps my Recaro seats. Ninabey. Seow liao.

Wanted to go to the toilet at MacDonald's at King Albert's Park. Reached there, realised that there are many patrons waiting outside. Must be the spicy Prosperity meals. KNN, the tailback was like at least 6 patrons outside. Bo pian. LL waited. Needed 20 minutes to finally clear the queue and my turn! Confirmed stained.

After dumping my boxers at Mac's, went up the overhead viaduct, where there's a short curvy tunnel section after. A cab was slow on the right lane so I overtook on the left. At the last possible moment, he "ate" into my lane, just as I was about to pass him with a speed differential of 30+ kph. Freaking had to e-brake and horn at the same time! Next thing... Buang !!! KNN Kenna !!! I stepped out of the car, he walked towards me. "Seow eh, you bang my behind, how to settle?" Few small scratches, but he threatened to report TP I bang his backside, so LL I paid him $200. One WRX TP drove past, look at me as if I am Ah Seng with firecrackers in my car.

Travelled up W'lands Rd and went into the Caltex petrol kiosk. Unfortunately the tyre shop there was closed !!! Wa lao eh.......

So now I'm in the office. Late, tyre anomaly unsolved, kenna accident, paid $200, lost a Hello-Kitty boxer shorts and stained my pants and Recaro seats.....

This is my sibey suay day (so far)! How is yours??

took sleeping pills woke up at 640 sent son to school. went upp thomson for kway chup. coming home hit the upp thomson jam. radio dj kpkb...lan lan Q up from thomson up mt alvania hospital viaduct..back down jam lornie to home. 25 mins.

chiet one mod mazda 3, blocked a last minute signalling murano. he think he big can bully. after that i let him drink wiper. then adam flyover clear showed him my fist n raced off. now at home...pornhub or uporn? beautiful day...

Not only PIE but ECP was jammed too! This was about 10am (as I had a dental appmt) . Accident involving 4 - 5 cars at Fort road flyover but it was just too many cars from Benjamin Sheares onwards.

axl, i travel that clementi stretch every morning. U just got to keep on the right lane. Traffic there never seem to improve after the erp thingy
this morning PIE towards Tuas, 5 vehicle collision. 2 cars n 3 bikes. Traffic was a nightmare.
