N54 or n55

For 335 coupe. Besides the turbo, what's the other differences between these 2 models?

Early ones comes with 6 spd torque converter while later ones get 7DCT

Both have dct variants ....

Personally prefer the n54 over the N55 because it's easier to get more mods in there ..... Power is more raw with the N54

I choose the N55 back then since it is a new engine.
With a stage 2 pure and supporting mods the world record is 525 hp

while n54 is in excess of 700 hp with a RB turbo and supportings....

N55 has mods even till port injection while we are talking and believe it will shine further.

Both are good cars ...
