N55 ewg ps2 boost issue

Hello everyone.

I just installed a ps2 on my n55 ewg FBO. ( oem inlet )
Car is under 10k miles. ( weekend car )
i am running bm3 currently.
Kindly help me understand the problems.

I have done with 25psi pressure test. Nothing found.
Did the smoke test. Nothing found.
Checked ISTA for codes. Nothing found.
Did the wastegate linkage test from ISTA. nothing found.

I also did a stock tune log in case someone wants to compare it with the custom tune logs.


I am unable to understand the 100wgdc reason. The boost tapering. Much more you can see in logs.

Full boost by 4500rpm 18psi.
Tapers down to 13psi at redline.

It is doing this @ 100 wgdc ? And the target is 25 psi and it getting 18 ? The BM3 tune is OTS ?

Yes the wgdc stays 100.
The target boost is 20 psi. It goes to 18psi at 4500 rpm and comes to to 13 psi by redline. I am running a custom tune. The same happens with the OTS stage as well.

Some logs to see what is happening would be good. Looks like a limiter is in place. And that limiter seems to be following stock parameters.

Are you on a 2.5 or 3.5 tmap ?

I am using 3.5 tmap.

Saw that. BM3 is not an open platform despite it being just an end user level tool.

Can‘t see a thing. Suggest you download the CSV and post it up on datazap. And send that to me.

nothing in there suggest a problem with the hardware.

I would look at the specifics of the custom tune …

Its the same case with OTS and stock map as well.
