Need advice on rims for my E39

Hi all,

Looking to change rims for my E39. Need some advice on which rims from which series would be compatible? I googled that E39 is quite different for rims and i can't find any definitive answer so I would appreciate input from the experienced bros here.

dont ever buy any BMW OE rim which the centre hole of rim is smaller.
after market rim you may have chance to get it.
Because you hole is bigger(dia 74.1mm) than all Bimmer(72.6mm)
BMW X6 is the only model that came with front(74.1mm) and Rear(72.6mm) diff hole diameter

For after market rims, which series would be compatible? Seems like super difficult to get non-stock rims

IMHO, u can forget about looking for any rim on this island for E39. U will have better luck in Malaysia.

If u r looking for any particular chio chio rim, be prepare to indent.

In my opinion, Hamann PG2 or PG3 looks best on E39.. Simple, Bold and beautiful..and easy to clean..I do not think its expensive though since its "old" model.

I love the E39!

when you go round to look for rim just mention upfront your comes with the centre hole of
74.1 mm, so the shop will know what to give you.
Dont blame them for it, becuase all this E39 car mostly off the road

Errr..last time can but now I am not too sure unless you ask any of the Site Sponsors dealing with parts. They may have some lobang for used ones or maybe bring in for you.

When I saw the thread title I was also thinking of Hamann, saw many e39 in it and it looks swee.
Then came in and saw that MW has the same taste. High class.

I believe if you look hard enough, you can get any of these rims locally...especially the BBS rims.
