Thanks for all your recommendations. I have finally come to a decision. I'll be getting the E exhaust which Terry also recommends.

This is what it measures against my initial criterias:

1) the louder the better. (I am a sound whore. )
It sounds great. Almost come when I heard it.

2) preferably a quad exhaust if there's one available. (I guess I need to change my rear diffuser too, but that's another issue....)
I gave up on quad exhaust due to budget constraint.

3) must be LTA approved. (I have a feeling this criteria and #2) above will crash head.)
I gave up on this too. The exhaust just sounds too good. Now I don't care anymore if it's legal or not. huat ah!

But now I don't know to get slant or straight cut for the tips. I guess it is all down to personal preference on looks.

LTA no longer an issue liao arh, then go to our neighbourhood bolek ctry to do it. Cheap and nice, u wan crispy or original also can.

I am looking for exhaust for my e90 325.

The criterias are:
1) the louder the better. (I am a sound whore. )
2) preferably a quad exhaust if there's one available. (I guess I need to change my rear diffuser too, but that's another issue....)

4) I don't worry about performance (I drive like a tortoise anyway), so I guess I only need a muffler and not the full exhaust / or midpipe.

Will appreciate any good and kind advices from the experienced bros here (no OT please). Thank you in advance.

what about alternative japanese brands such as HKS, Fujutsubo etc? do they saound great and perform well?
