just go back stock its good enough. and limp mode could depend on other things. is it during WOT?
if so could be due to leak in hoses etc.

No, I was slowing down for a red light and went lymp mode. Follow by a stall when I was coming to a halt. Lucky I was not on highway...

I had the similar issue last year and two things the mechanic did - to tune up the RPM a bit higher and the next thing was the change of the fuel pump beneath the rear seats. The problem resolve and no recurrent till today's
