Hi just need some help on the following questions?

1) why is UK's BMW 325 version 3000cc? different from Singapore, ours is 325 but 2500cc

2) is PI 323i the same as PML 325i, PI advertises 218bhp, seems like same as PML 325 specs.

1) That is because Western Europe got Direct Injection engine. Whereby Port injection in the rest of the world.

2) Instead of looking at number, ask PI whether 3L or 2.5L. PI may bring in Western Europe spec or rest of the world spec.

Lastly, pls read the spec sheet carefully.

you mentioned fuel injection vs direct injection, which has a better fuel efficiency?

why does BMW make 2 variant for both markets?

I searched wiki for applications of both the n52 and n53 engines and cannot find any 323 with 218 hp. Agree with david that u should look at the spec sheet carefully. I also recall something about the western european 3000 cc engine not being suitable for our fuel. Something to do with sulphur content? So pl do ur research.

Since PI 323 and PML325 has same power, I will sell my 325 to a carrot head and buy the 323 from the PI. This is call arbitrage la.
