NEED HELP!!! Warning Lights and fluctuating RPM

Hi all,

Need URGENT help and advise.
So here goes with the series of events:

1) Had my battery changed to the same reading as the current one, however different brand.

2) 1 week later warning signals start to appear, had the Engine check light and engine stalled at traffic light a few times when idling and dropped.

3) New signals appear:
- DSC failure check light
- Engine fault Check light
- Fault In drive
- Flat tyre monitor failure

Vehicle also experienced erratic RPM which resulted in stalling of engine at stationary when RPM drops too low

4) While cruising at 'D' mode, gear wouldnt change and will drag at 3rd gear. Tried to switch gears using Manual mode via paddleshift and gear stick, however gear still unchanged although the sign on display shows that gear has changed.

Btw im driving an E93/335i, N54 with full exhaust system + JB4.
JB4 has been removed since it was thought to cause the issue, however issue persists.

Appreciate experts out there to advise what may be the problem.

Thank you. :helpp!::helpp!:

Re: NEED HELP!!! Warning Lights and fluctuating RPM

You'll need to "register" the battery with the car through INPA and EDIABAS from your laptop. This is assuming you've replaced the battery with one that has the same amperage.

If the battery was properly registered, then you can try resetting the battery. Remove the negative terminal with an 8mm socket wrench. The IBS (intelligent battery sensor) will come off together. Leave the battery unplugged for 10 to 20 minutes. Put the negative terminal back on and tighten the bolt.
