need recommendations for a headunit with GPS

hi guys,

i've never used anything other than a stock HU before so this is all new to me....

i'm looking for a single DIN HU that has touch screen function, GPS and allows use of reverse cam.
anyone has any recommendations? i'm not really an audiophile so yeah, just looking at a HU that can provide the above functions.

the original HU in my car was from becker and the last owner changed to nakamichi... never heard of this brand before, is it any good?

single din with touch screen would mean u need the motorised flip up screen, why not go for double din?

Seems like Pioneer is the only known brand name doing a single DIN with all those features.... been out of the ICE scene since my E46 so not in the know as much. Perhaps the ICE gurus can help.

i popped by an audio shop today and they quoted around 2.6k, including install, for an alpine HU with flip screen, additional GPS unit and CCD rear cam... not sure if i'm being chopped or if this is fair market rate?

sounds pretty reasonable to me...any Kenwood alternatives? was very happy with mine...single DIN with VCD lol...still working never gave problems.

Alpine HU with all that, sounds about right....
