hi! welcome.
is this your first car?

Re: Need some help!

Hi welcome,
1. Today new engine is factory break in and tested, with warranty given by factory, they need to ensure all
the part is working in minimum failure state.
2. No idea
3. For 3 series and above, 8km/l is consider good in today Singapore traffic condition, even for highway condition in Malaysia is subjected to the way we drive the car, cruising at 110 at top gear will achieve the best fuel economy, BUT bit boring I guess.
4. Due to the rain sensor, it will override the interval function, I personally do not like the rain sensor and prefer the manually
controlled interval button.

Hi speedy,

Congrats and welcome onboard.......
which car you bought??? 320, 328, 335???

cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers

Re: Need some help!

Pls refer to driver handbook for vehicle run in. Mine stated not exceeding 4500rpm for first 2k km.

Never trust SE for technical stuff. Some of them know nuts about cars.

! thanks for the information, but i see from some other thread tt some seniors are asking ppl to mak sure break in is done.
YEAH! rain sensor is a pain. IC, now i know why even though i set at the slowest interval it somehow moves real fast.

Re: Need some help!

I prefer regular sealant and wax.

Wash 1-2 times a week using plain water and wax every month and then sealant every 3-4months.
