Joined the forum tofay, I own an e34, M20, 520i, 1988, over 160K, bought it in April 2006 and I have been okay ever since. Minor issues are consumption, got the rear left hub & bearing changed, left front shock had to go go also, I do fix minor problems coz I have the service manual and would love to get into the engine one day. I do about 6ltrs of unleaded for every 40km, that's my daily usage from home to office and back. I would love to know how other e34 owners are doing, I do get into jams atleast 30% of the journey. A mechanic also told me that I have a valve problem and I need it to be fixed. Hope to hear from other e34 owners on how they do it!
