6yrs ago I have thought of buying a 523 but my age is 26yrs old.. Seems a bit too young for it. I went for mark x. After driving for 4yrs, it's time for me to change bimmer. Guess what! I went for shopping I came across this c class. The dealer told me can give a good price. From the original price they given me $8,000 discount. Haiz... Out of emotion, I married my c class. FINALLY until last week, I gotten my 523. Did went to see F10, but quite steep for me for now. Hopefully within the next 2yrs im able to change to F10.

Same age as you, but less historical la, the car is my first.

Lol. Although I Haiz.. I didn't buy bimmer earlier but I never regretted. It's a kind of different ride.
Anyway I'm happy I gotten this 523. Target: within 2yrs will come my F10.

Wow.. Thats some serious shit!
Fortunately dealer willing to accept payment and damages.
I bought my vehicle from my dealer and it turns out to have alot of issues and replacement required. Not long after i bought it 2 weeks ago

The damages do not come cheap, and sadly I am bearing it myself.

E60s have batches that have gearbox issues... The most famous ones are jerking before coming to a stop. However it seems to plague the pre-LCI models more (pre-2007).
Some are solved by just software upgrade, while others were so serious it's unsolved.

Well documented in forum, just do a search, there'll be lots of info on it.

Hope everything is solved for you guys and u will get to enjoy this wonderfully crafted vehicle.

It still turns my head every time a well dressed up E60 goes past.
