In June we reported rumours about a Lamborghini Gallardo V8, spotted on the Nürburgring, and this is the latest video to surface. The exhaust note is similar to that of the Audi R8 and pictures of the rear reveal smaller exhaust pipes than on the V10 Gallardo.

I suspect it will go for around 600K+. The new F430 is going for around 800K i think

These are rumours, why would they want a V8. Lamborghini's strategy is always to be one up ferrari and that is why Gallardo was released as a V10 and not V8 in the first place. Lamborghini always priced themselves 10% higher than Ferrari in all markets.

The R8 in a recent track shootout was just behind a Carrera GT and a Koennitoofreakinglongname CCX.

Faster than much more expensive cars.

The RS4 was slower than the 335, that is true, but the new AWD setup in a Midship layout seems quite formidable in the R8.

guess audi is just smart to make good use of its corporate resources...since the V8 has proven to be quite a hit in its RS4/R8, they might as well share it with lambo for entry level sales marketing right? that's assuming they're the same V8

There are lots of disguised mules in Nurburgring. Who knows what it cud be.

I have seen a CT9A mule hiding the innards of an Evo X before.
