Hi,
New to BMW, and this is my first X5 so would like to seek some advise.
1. Tyres : I used to have Michelin Lattitude HP in the XC90 and found they were fairly decent. I'm not looking for high performance, but more of wet grip, longevity and quietness. What do you owners recommend?
2. Audio advice : I would like to play my songs thru either USB or lightning cable to my CCC (i think). Previous owner had a standard pre-lightning ipod cable there. The AUX jack doesn't work and i don't have any old ipod or iphone. Is this something i buy and plug in (in my previous A6, i just had to buy the AMI cable adapter and change it from ipod to USB). Saw some on the internet so seeking advice from techy CCC owners here.
3. HID bulbs : Ordered them from amazon. Is this something you guys have done yourself or is it tricky. There was no user serviceable way for the '08 A6 Avant, and am wondering if this the same here.
4. Advise for reliable HW stuff : My used car needs some wear and tear stuff replaced. Do you have any recommendations. I used HAT for my audi and they were good a decently priced.
Thanks.
