I wish i could handle the 6speed in town and have the moolah (50K) for the X51. Instead i got the midlife crisis spec:
Full leather
Bose
Reverse sensor
Sport Chrono
Tiptronic
PASM comes std on the S i believe
Quite a lot of room to add mods later i guess (X51 headers, X51 airbox, Bilstein PASM compatible PSS, GruppeM, IPD intake plenum, etc) but in the interest of my warranty i shall stay stock for now. My understanding is that the 2+2 yr warranty at SA is conditional on no aftermarket mods.

The bidding result for SJA first round was out last friday.
Still got a lot to learn from you guys about taking good pics. The pics i shot with my IXUS 7mega pixel did not turn out quite as nice as the ones you took of your car in the other thread.

and I guess a tippy will be faster than a manual MOST of the time.

According to the aftersales manager at SA whom i spoke to today, they will not install a pse if i get it from outside sources, say suncoast porsche in the US (only USD 2K!)
Suncoast Porsche, Audi, & VW: Carrera S Sport
Not only must you put in porsche parts, you must get it from them and install it thru them.
Don't really know how you look like but am glad i look younger

Love the crackle, burble, snorts, and pops that the flat-6 engine makes esp during start up and when variocam kicks in around 4K rpm. This has got to be one of the nicest sounding engines around. It really reminds me of the fun times i had in the 986 in boston.

PASM really works wonders! Yesterday while on sport mode and going round the bend at Grange road (towards Holland road), i could hardly feel the strips. Going over that stretch in the e46 with PSS9 used to be a molar loosening event.
Kanna poked by a blue toyota corolla in heavy traffic on the way home yesterday. I actually thought i was going to be let off the hook when i filtered right to sixth ave but he actually did a two-lane switch just to poke me some more. Because the engine is hanging at the back, you sort of feel very vunerable to poking in this car. So please dun poke my slow porky ass. Oink.
Was deciding between arctic silver and guards red but eventually settled for the less conservative choice. Hope i won't regret it! Look forward to seeing your speed yellow GT3 soon. Do you have an eta yet from SA?
