New to BMW vehicle, this forum and the happiness that comes along

Hi everyone,

I've been driving a Mercedes C class and recently upgraded to a BMW Activce Hybrid 5.
I love everything about it except the fact that it's a little too executive for me.
Just went down to Munich Auto and tried to find out more about the M performance kit and which Rim and size actually works with my Hybrid 5.

I look forward to gaining more knowledge and I'll try to learn more from all the experts out there

Hi Baby1M, am glad you asked!
Yes it's a self inflicted struggle.
I love the tension between a serious looking sedan with just a little attitude and slight sporty-ness without going too far.
But just love the fact that it has the right bhp and yet slightly lower carbon footprint.

I think the pic above sums up what I was looking for. Minus the carbon fiber optional bits.

Welcome Superbacana! AH5 is a very nice car. For sportier look, do consider mods like quad exhausts, BBK, M5 rims, M5 mirrors, side vents, etc. It will be one of the sportiest and best FC Yam5 around.

Hi LimPeh, you are right. I got it cause it's subtle, quiet but when pissed, can really break loose and run.
I just changed to M series 20" rims. And boy! I can't recognise my car for a moment. I am kind of interested in the callipers but was advised on to meddle ard too much with AH cars as there are sensors everywhere to help recharge battery.
Am changing 1 thing at a time. Waiting for my M series Aerodynamics kit to arrive

Congrats on your AH5 new shoes! Its brakes with the power regeneration together aleady have respectable braking ability. For looks, consider to fit a BBK cover. Your wheels will look very nice with the "BBK".
