new to bmw

Hi All,
bout to be 1st time owner of a preowned bimmer...
so am here to learn more bout them all;
esp the 1 series E87 (i think)
130i 5 Dr hatch
understand it's a PI model.
anything(s) i should look out for?

thks, not yet comfirmed the purchase
understand the PML units only come in 3Dr (E81 izzit?)
plus PI omv slightly lower than PML ones (high 30's vs low 40's)
MBM service / warranty claims should not be too bad i suppose...
like the 5 dr also just in case a addition to family will not mean hv to sell off.

Thks, but no cant do... already hv a coupe @ home so cant hv both cars 2drs
plus getting a used 130 is already max budget, not willing to stretch my monthly $$$
an alternative would be to look at 3'ers, same budget range but cant hv the sweet 3L engine
case of cant hv cake & eat it also

update on my inpending 130i purchase,

workshop inspection looks good, only 2 front tires need changing & alignment to be done.

been reading thru the forum & understand RFT's is not to many liking (heavy, poor ride...)

ride does NOT come with i drive, so not sure if TPMS function (or whatever BMW calls it) is avail

hv to double confirm when i go sign on dotted line.
