New X1 or outgoing X3........... ?

Dear Bros (& maybe Sis) ,

Wanted to change my current ride of 6 yrs ..
Always wanted an X3 but read lots of good reviews for the new X1.

So brave to the showroom to test drive it........
X3 got the usual good handling of a rwd and plenty of space ... great for my Golf gears...
This is expected and was happy with it..
X1 test drive really surprised me. .

Better than expected space though it looks smaller than X3.
Handling was even better than I thought .....as I know it is a fwd. Still x3 wins in this though but not a lot.
Wow... the boot design is really smart and cool. ... better than x3
Dashboard really put the x3 into shame ....... likely it is a Newer design F48
Both having the same engine producing about 190 bhp.

Was offered event car for a very good price for X3 . Bringing it very near to X1 price..
Price GAP was about 9k or less.

Heart goes to the X1 but brain goes to the x3.
X3 depreciation will be lower , New model coming next year...
X1 size a but not so majestic.

what you recommend pls.......

Was comparing the outgoing X3 and the current X1 few months back and sat in both. I needed to have the rear seats accommodate 3 adults comfortably especially the rear center seat as I have 5 adults in the family. Only X3 met my requirements.
When I sat in the rear center seat on the X1, I could not even seat well and I am only 1.65m. I immediately had a headache when I try to lean back as it's not comfortable al. After considering everything, Wife and I agreed and bought a F25 instead. It's a great drive! After a few months of ownership, we still enjoyed it a lot
and it's my Wife's daily drive.
