I am sure that is it true of some parts, but not all. Still know of some bros that go to JB to change some parts too.

Welcome Yenom, I'm driving an E36 too but the really baby.. 1.6L

Generally the stock (original) parts pertaining to your engine and drive train are cheaper in SG then MY, but for used parts, MY are cheaper on some items sometime.

Aftermarket parts like bodykits etc seemed to be cheaper as I heard from many bros here.. I can't really testify with it as I did not purchase any parts from MY before.

Hope other bros can provide their experiences.

as i know from my fren in S'pore,he said some S'porean buy parts fron S'pore & change it in JB coz labour charge in JB r much more cheaper compare to S'pore.
