just a suggestion, i did a check on aloha bungalow chalets, by chance got ONE unit available (which is really rare, there): CHANGI CHALET H $160, SUN 27th JAN.

drinking and bbqing for those that do not report to work on mon morning looks possible, no?

anyways, just a suggestion

The double-storey chalets are fully furbished with a living room set with TV and games table; dining room; 4 air-conditioned bedrooms furbished with beds (1 queen-sized and 6 single-sized), wardrobe, dresser, bedside table and wall fan; 4 toilets /bath with shower heater; BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen

hi guys,

just a recap... we r getting the newbies to meet one hr before the 430pm mthly gathering with objective of getting newbies to feel comfortable with one another (with the help of some seniors) before we meet other "old bies". this itself is a challenge already.

as such, i would like to suggest we KIV the chalet gathering (nice gesture from kai82) and table it for discussion during the meet up...if some guys want to continue with a gathering after our "official" sunday event, please feel free to organise among yourselves.

meanwhile, lets stick to the original plan and make our 1st attempt a success. tks kai82 for the suggestion...

hey ive got another idea!



what about, midway, before or after the itinerary, can bring us newbies to "excursion" and visit bmw-sg's favourite accessories and work shops?

this "show of force" will definitely establish our spending power potential and rejuvenate vendors' confidence in our community, thus maybe coming up with new offers or whatnot?

cuz the way i imagine it, i will definitely be one of those who suffers "heart-pain syndrome" after seeing all you guys' modded and primmed up rides!!

my humble suggestions to all newbies attending 1st or mayb their 2nd meetup:

do not be shy to talk to whether fellow newbies or oldbies. just walk straight to them and intro urself.. tell then what u drives and what they drives. Talk about potential mods of your ride model. if u are not drving a 7 Series like wat i used to be (cos no one mods a 7), than plenty to talk about! go and see their rides and ask plenty of questions as thou u are a sotong to various mods and PLEASE PLEASE, in the event of admiring their rides, dun leave finger prints or saliva.

OR if u dun have anything to talk about cars, you want to talk about Zhangjui / KTV and Hor-sing, look for oldbies bros like Kenntona, Hitmee, Jawsg aka Camel, Terry, Boobbytay, I dun noe abt Sam but u can try... If u meet a fello newbie, just post the question straight lah, " U cheong boh"? Serious, just dun be shy... I seen some newbies spend 1 hour talking on their mobile in one corner, actually they are not, they are just pretending to b busy cos if they are talking on the mobile, how come the mobile can suddenly ring? whahahaha..

Some oldbies might look unfriendly but trust me, all are awesome nice guy! Stay away from ACScab2.he is houlian.

Admins/ oldbies, why not this meetup, go ard talking to newbies only. no need to talk to oldbies anymore... talk so many years already buay sianz meh???

Perhaps we could bring along self adhesive labels for all attending, stating our nickname used here at forum and put a face to these postings we are viewing daily.
There shouldn't be a reason why anyone should be hiding behind their nickname/avatar.
( Still it definately not compulsory to identify themselves if they do not wish to.. )
