Newie to the balvarian machine!

Hi all, greetings n hope to get some advice n tips on whether to go for the x6 35i. I hv narrow down to the cayenne tdi 3.0 n the x6. Both agent n pi. Area of consideration is the space n FC as this is the family car thus the usage will be high. Current ride is a lexus hybrid 5yrs old n 144k mileage. I saw a white x6 from vin car earlier this week n the price was pretty reasonable against the cayenne but my concern is the FC n also the aftersale support from PI cos pml dun hv the color I wanted n Munich only got the m series which is overkill for me. Thks

If FC is a concern then you should get a Toyota.

And its Bavarian as in Bavarian Motor Works.

Welcome mysticryan.

Below is info you are asking about (may not be right):
FC for X6 35i - approximately 8L/100km.
FC for Cayenne - guessing about 6L/100km (Diesel version, unable to make a guess)

IMHO if u can consider and afford the Cayenne or X6 35i, why even think about FC? If FC is top priority on the list when considering a ride, look at the most economical brand/model in the market. If FC is not a priority, drop the concern about FC.

Aftersales support - If worry, get it from AD (X6 35i is from PML, not Munich Auto). Alternatively, get it from a reputable PI.

Cents.

Often wonder why the least knowledgeable are often the loudest. I am reading one such post now. Pathetic. Suggest you google the FC of a toyota before you make such comment. Btw, my bad on the spelling for bavarian.

Hi Baby1M, thank you for your input. A tdi in the cayenne does make good fc sense vs the petrol x6. My concernis how much more economical if I were to jump boat to a diesel engine. If the number isnt that great, would prefer the x6 cos I really like the look of it.

My bad as well. Should have said Mazda.......quite affordable as well. Easier on wallet for those concerned about FC.......

The modern era of Diesel should and will win the non-diesel hands down. If the Cayenne TDI is Diesel based... without any statistics, I bet Cayenne wins the X6 35i hands down.

The members in this forum loves to joke and poke, really. They even go to e extend of discriminating their own ride which they love. I had my share of such pokes too
