I can understand why you asked some of those questions as it is typical of Mazda 3 (which was also my previous car):

2. Visual with the car door open can only be seen when the car is in motion, not when it is stationery (unlike Mazda 3)

3. The door will not autolock back (unlike Mazda 3)

Several other differences between Mazda 3 and 320 include:

- Mazda 3's CD player can swallow 6 disks whereas 320 only 1 disk with CD changer at the boot
- Mazda 3's side mirror can auto close whereas 320 cannot
- Mazda 3 has a DC plug-in whereas 320 does'nt have 1
- Mazda 3 has a manuel measuring oil stick where 320 is electronic type

Other than the above, you will soon find that the 320 is a much more superior car.

Actually in the 320i LCI (not sure about the rest), there is an option to do an autolock. These feature can be set in the computer. Once you use the remote to unlock but do not actually physically open the door, it will lock back automatically after about 2 minutes...

Care to share how to activate it? Meaning if one unlocks the door but does not open it within 2 mins, it will autolock back (like Mazda 3).

hi,

In the computer, got SET, look for the key with the nike logo (the tick), within that subgroup is one that has a icon with an "A" on it... I can't remember the details, but its this one that sets it. Can't change the timing, just an on or off option..

hahaha NIKE??? this is the best description i've seen so far!! welcome pitbull. lemme guess... u r 42 years old?

edit : btw afaik the row of LEDs r called daytime running lights? not angel eyes... dun do it lah.. it u have both DRL and AE will look like a xmas tree..!! hehe
