Wonder who's car that is? Windows were tinted in the rear....

I arrived in Lanzhou yesterday and the first plate I saw was 8888.

I suspect the number 1 in Singapore would be at least $40k plus.

I know you can bid on car numbers in advance, but the LTA site only lets you bid on 4 digit numbers. How do you bid on single, double and triple digit numbers?

i know that car. I had dinner with the prime minister of PNG with my dad. THe government loans these cars to minsters/government leaders. i had that car follow behind me when we were given convoy by TP. its a royal white BMW 7 series which is the facelifted 7 before the new radical 7 was introduced. And i believe its S1 not just 1.

even in normal running series...ie. SFA SFB SFC etc. the 1 plate usually bids for >40K...together with 8 and often 3 i heard

To my knowledge, No. 1 is the pricest of all, I come across 3 and 8 (new plate) that selling in the region of $20 Plus K. IMHO, anything more than that is over bid liao.

I personally have bidded 3 digit numbers for my cars. There definitely isn't a restriction on the number of digits.
