I don't understand what is the big deal with him screwing around behind spouse's back? Such events happen on a daily basis to who you know and who you don't know. Sure he can't keep his dick locked in his pants and this shows that he has low morale values or a man with weak principles in life. But if he serves well as an MP to Hougang, so who should care about his private life? To use an example, Bill Clinton could not keep a leash on his dick too. He turned out to be better a president than George Bush and may even surpass Obama.

As long as his private life does not intrude into his public duty, why should we care?

MP/Country leader are mere mortal like u & me. Why do we need to impose such a moral hi ground for them? We are adults. Don't we know that it is not right to be MBA?

Regardless of what color uniform, as long as private life does not intrude into public life, i am fine with it.

Morality is derived from society. If our society accept adultry then would people complain? Same like the famous orgy parties by the Romans and they think it's normal.

This forms the basis of societal judgement. Morally, if everything is proven to be truth, then this case should not be treated any different in the CNB/SCDF case - esp if the latter are paid-in-kind type rather than monetary transactions.

On the other hand, nobody shouts emphasis on moral/civic study in school.

Fully agree. Since young we were taught to study as much as possible be it relevant or not. Just score as many "As" as possible. In the end we have plenty of walking "computer". Good in doing tasks assigned to them and good in crunching big numbers/complicated mathematical formulae. In the end we produce more workers than leaders. It's a vicous cycle.

i'm not saying all Singaporeans are like that. It's just that we could do better in our education system and nuture more leaders/businessman/scientist.

In the recent years we do see some changes in our education system. However, it's just more of a minor tweak. It's still based on the core believe that "we cannot fail if not sure to die".

if he took a vow to be faithful till death do them apart, and he break the vow,, how can we still trust him?

if he can cheat on his wife, who is supposedly closet to him, he can screw anyone.
