We r using electronic power steering thus no oil involve.

Get yur CSA to check it out. Mine since day one has this sound & thot its normal.
During last warranty claim for oil leaks, highlighted to him.

During collection (4days later) was made know that steering rack cupping has been clean up n re greese up. After this soundless. Now is aircon blower low bassy sound.

I did tell them it's e90 cos i also enquiry for the oil leak issue ~~ omg i damn scared my ride will jam in the half way driving = = today PH somemore dunnow any shop open?? PML??

E90, E46 and earlier: Hydraulic power steering.

F30: Electric power steering.

Most workshop r closed on Sun n PH. Oil leaks if can wait, drop by yur workshop tomorrow.
If yur idrive didnt prompt u, should b fine.

Glad all goes well without causing pain in yur wallet

*So yur ride is LCI or pre face lift E90?? google & found that there are two types of steering setup. With steering oil & EPS

OIC ~~ maybe mine is really EPS cos i cant seem to find any besides brake, coolent, wiper wash.

I changed the alternator pulley as well as the idler pulley ( preventive ). Parts plus labour slightly more than $200
