NTU Motor Fest

Re: NTU Motor Fest

Hey, the star is the location but i dont think there is any parking spaces there... you either have to go to some free car park further away or you can pay for parking nearer if lazy to walk. Car park rate in NTU very cheap only... Oh ya, if u guys coming to NTU for lunch, i recommand canteen 2 with the higher number of good food or go Canteen A for cheap MacDonalds, foods there also quite good.

I'll not be joining u guys. I got no transport, I'm staying over in school, ha

Re: NTU Motor Fest

nah I wun eat in sch, sick of the food in ntu.

Anyway there is a drift show at 1pm and stunt show at 2pm.

The carpark nearby is free after 2pm on saturday and free on sundays.

Re: NTU Motor Fest

So how? Worthwhile to go? What time the event ends tmr ar? Thx... :)

Re: NTU Motor Fest

Not sure if it's worth your while to go Axl... they don't even let you touch the cars... all I did was put my grubby hand on the superamerica just to have a closer look at the inside of the car and the jaga told me to hands off... :( It's like, you can see but cannot touch... where's the fun in that? Cannot even sit in the car! (grumble grumble)

But the company I went with was worth this trip to the the other end of the world la... :)

Re: NTU Motor Fest

The whole event was not too bad, seems pretty well organized.
The main attraction should be the drifting demonstration and for those lucky ones to get a thrill ride. There's also the supercars to ogle at and as Summer says, can see but cannot touch (dun eve consider sitting in)

For the young at hearts, there are games arena with video games and some RC tracks. Snapped some pictures for you people who can't get there...

The Minis had a huge presence in the show, and there were some old Minis! Kind of suprising to see these classics still registered on the road today. And they were so nicely kept too!!

Exactly, not allow to touch the car let alone sit in it.

If you are thinking of going and you have the time, then go down and take a look. Nothing much actually so dun expect it to be like a car show with all the race queens!(that is why we bring our own, summer and hungry)

Re: NTU Motor Fest

Or hug the guard. I'me sure that'd bought you a touch.

Nehmind lah... anyway they didn't quite prepare the cars - the Gallardo had dried leaves trapped behind its front grills (think can see from pictures above)
