object sliding sound

lately, when i turned the car a bit harder, i can hear a sound from behind me like a loose object slid. i took out every single thing from the car and tried, can still hear the sound.

i checked the seat belts, folded down the rear seats and back up again, checked under the carpet, even the vent under the car seat, and still couldn't find a thing.

has anyone here experienced this before? can advise the possible source of the sound?

I have this situation before, I thought the noise is coming from the backseat. After painfully trying out all options (including taking out whole backseat), found out that the noise was created by the exhaust tips rubbing against the diffuser when car is turning. The noise created really make me think its inside the cabin but its not. May not be exactly your case but do take a look at exhaust area, undercarriage, suspension, etc ...
Good luck.

Thanks for sharing. Yes, high possibility that sound comes from outside instead of inside. I have thoroughly checked the cabin and very sure that there’s no loose item lying around. Will send to workshop to diagnose.

Yup. If lucky just a few cable ties or adjustment will do the job. I heard there is a similar issue. I forgot what's the term. It's a wear and tear of a particular part and that thing cost like 1.2k.

TS.u might want to bring to your trusty workshop after this CB period is over. I not sure if this is considered a big issue that your workshop can do for u.

I think maybe workshop can still do during this period as it is considered a repair, for safety consideration? Lol. Not PML though as they are close until 4 May.
Wah, if it’s due to a part that costs $1.2k, I will faintz. Just pray hard.
Thanks for sharing too!
