only 400km @full tank (70l).. whats wrong?

*seeking advise*

Per subj, my refill warning lit at 370km, after a full refill. I feel this is abnormal, as most get between 550 to 650 here. The car hv been reset of all adaptations by pml 2 weeks ago, what esle could be wrong? Any clues?

Stats: 70% city, on 20" breyton gts

note hor: I m not kiam abt the cost of petrol but jus suspect something is wrong, but not sure what...

1st is the heavy arsed 20" rims i'm going to bet, 2nd is 70% city driving, 3rd is driving style i.e sport button always on ? jack rabbiting your traffic light stops ? braking late and hard all the time ? driving with a boot full of heavy stuff you don't need ? driving style on and off all the time instead of keeping a nice even pressure on the accelerator ? servicing your car reg ? carrying around a lot of people all the time ? all these affect FC big time.
FYI im on 18" rims 80-90% highway all the time when i can help it. Only thing in my boot is a teddy bear and I drive like a granny. i get 8.9-9.6KM/L

Is a norm, my fren getting 380km for full tank. Around 6.5km / litres.

Btw E60 tank is 65L.
When warning comes on you would have abt 10L of reserve.
It should be 400km from 55L.
My E60 523 also does abt 450km per 55L with half city drive half highway.

I am also at around 7km/l.

a few note: FC calculation also feature in all the idling time whenever your engine is running.... waiting for your CO, kids, reading in the car, traffic jam.....

FC will also increase if you have sprint booster installed... more fuel needed for faster acceleration...

I think its normal on 20" rim and its 70% on city driving.

Well, i got no sport button, sport mode is on via the throttle floor which i rarely touch it cuz i am a gentle footer. Boot is mostly 98% empty. As i only took over the car for a mth, yes i am gonna start servicing it at 5k interval for 2 rounds then 10k... Let's see if it get back 'normal'

Errm... bet 20 - 30+ something, if i recall correctly. Will monitor further.

maybe N20 engine??
getting 380km is perfectly normal! based on 70-30 .

You should be happy with 370km when fuel reserved lights on on 70% HW to 30%City....
My friend is getting lower mileage clocked even though He drive 50%H/50%City.

I did I test with my e90 325I .. Full tank I got 680km .. It was the most boring 10 days of my life... I basically did not go past 2k in any gear. I just wanted to see what fc I could get . Normal driving is 8.9-9.2 .. That time I got 10.2 .. But I won't do it again

my il6 with 80% freeway gets me about 7.5km/l...
