Opinions Sought: Should we shift?

Hi guys.

Its been 5years operating here in Bukit Batok and we are now faced with a dilema. The management here in the building has been causing multiple problems and presently we are paying a small fortune in carparking charges. Charges that have been refused to be waived nor compensated by the management.

Right now, we have gotten hold of a similiar sized shop in Woodlands and this is in a new development. The new place is beside the new Republic Polytechnic and is pretty close to Causeway Point. The new place will also charge parking but they are willing to discuss the implementation of concession tickets. Of cos, with the new place, we have the chance to re-organise the shop to provide more capacity and even perhaps more services.

I would like to ask the forum members if R2D should shift to Woodlands or remain in Bukit Batok area. Your opinions and suggestions matters to us sincerely.

Well, most of the site sponsor shops are located in the east , so it might be an advantage to be located at the west for the bros staying at that area.

But ultimately , it up to you because you don't wish to be dragging your feet to work with all these problems

Especially for working bros that look for servicing in the evenings, options of good mechanics are limited

I speak for myself and I patronize your shop because I trust that you take good care of my car and the good service that you provide. So to me, the location is secondary. That being said, I still hope that you'll stay in the west. not many workshops in the west that can provide this kind of service when you need a quick fix!

Hi Rod,

Through the years you have been my trusted friend to assist me with all the needs of my various rides.. Yes it would be sad to see you moving to the north. As other forum bros had said, there seems to be no workshops in the West that can attend our rides competently (mine's a dustbin I know) especially during the night...

Nevertheless I have no qualms driving to Woodlands for just another 20 mins...

Do what your heart (or she who must be obeyed) says!!
