Options for 20inch tyres?

Hi, my new ride should be coming in October. I have bought 20 inch rims and would need to find rubbers as well. 245/35/20 fronts and 285/30/20 rears.

Any suggestions guys?

wow...congra...but they don't come cheap for 20"

Budget type will be Falken or Yoko

Any others that I miss ?

dont save on rubber after spending so much on your CAR and Wheels
this sizes most likely bridgestone /continental and pirelli have

Totally agree. Don't save on rubbers, it's the only thing between your car and the road.

Thanks guys, looks like PS3 does not come in this size according to Soon Tyres. Any thoughts on CS5 vs P-zero nero?

I'm sorry to hijack ur thread if u dont mind, I ordered a 740Li and i chose to upgrade it to 21" rims the Star Spoke 311 design. Would u guys think this is a good idea to upgrade to such a big size? Or should I just max out at 20"?

YOU WILL have very limited tyre choice and difficulty in finding tyre,if any one told NO problem ,he is talking BIG

hmm... well the dealer gave me Pirelli tires to go with them... in terms of comfort, performance and FC, what can I be expecting?

NO SURE sbout FC but people who drive the 740 should not have this worry?
comfort should not be much diff from 20 to 21.
but again 21 " are really rare :yikess:

I'm looking at 20" too. But have not reach the rubber stage. Still deciding on which rim. Offset already decided.
But don't save on cheaper and older model. You will lose traction easily on our RWD. Eh TS, which car u fitting on?

Hi. Michelin PS2 might be possible but you'd need to indent the tyres.

The only problem with these will be getting tyres beyond 2010 because 285/30 R20 PS2 will be discontinued after 31/12/2010, to be replaced by the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

Great! But...

Your intended fronts, ie. 245/35 R20 PS2 will continue in PS2 up to 31/3/2012 and will not be phased-in to Pilot Super Sports in 2010.

So, unless you are willing to run PS2's up front and PSS' in the rear after 31/12/2010, you won't have a Michelin solution beyond 2010.

No promises whether you can indent the PS2's to being with but you can try with the distributor...

Did some cal and cad drawing. Gonna run 20x9J ET8 (very difficult to find.. will take 12-14 if can't find) front.

Tire will be 265/30R20. CSC 2 & Mich PS2 avail. 275 machiam non-existence.
Rear shld be 285/25R20.

Any feedback on VREDESTEIN tires? From Netherland..
