Original/Aftermarket wiper blades

Dear all bros

Wiper blades is one of the most negligible and easily omitted maintenance item on our rides.
But when it ceased to be effective, it could give us the worst discomfort especially when its use
is called upon in tropical Singapore.

May I know most of bros here buy back original BMW blades or have been using aftermarket ones with no complains?

I just took over a ride and workshop is selling me BMW original blades at S$115 a pair. Bosch Aerotwin is going at S$50 a pair.

What is your take?

Whats? Its a Rip off. You drive si mi chia? M6 GC?

Aftermarket ones (Bosch or Valeo or whatever) about $45 excl GST. IIRC, the original BMW ones(which I believe is also made by Bosch) costs $60 or so.

I drive an E90 and oem blades are at 50+ a pair and originals are at 60+ a pair. So I went with originals. Just buy them from Eng Soon and change them yourself.

$115 a pair is probably includes installation... don't forget AD carries "per unit" cost (just like europe) so imo $115 is, cost of blade pair + 2 x unit cost of installation.

AD pls correct me if i m wrong
