The BMW touch-up paint comes in two parts; the touch-up paint itself, and another clear coat. They come with their own applicator brush. Think it should be

My advise ......... never try the touch up paint !

The touch up surface will never be as smooth as the orginal.
I tried that before but being a fussy guy ............ the touch up became a eye sore for me.
in the end , went for re-spray.

If your car is black ......... i can give my bottle of touch up paint to you FOC.

thanks for the kind advise. jaswat and all. but i will try nevertheless. as the chip area is not too big, doubt it will be an eye sore, i m more worry about rust settling in with the naked chipped.

car not black, so if really is an eye sore, i will go respray the entire door lor.

Hello,

Juz wonder if the damage is induce by you? PML Paint warranty is for 6years. I got some rust around the fuel tank inlet areas and got PML to touch up paint without cost...

100% agree with this. Never leave it alone... touch it up asap before it's too late.
