I remember going to the zoo in the 80s to see two pandas also.

Reminds me of the old story of the gift of an Elephantidae elephus maximus albus to the ancient kingdom of Siam.....

Except these are a pair of Ailuropoda melanoleuca from the major foreign talent exporting country of 中 (to have 国 after the 中 would be a bit of a tautological redundancy - as are the last 2 words in this parentheses )

Interestingly, this is how real life works too... FT + FT = give birth = FT with Sg PR. Best of both worlds, and the rest of us pink NRIC carriers LPPL suck thumb & be jealous & post vitriol on forum because we sour grapes - we wish we could too, but we can't do the same

When using binomial nomenclature of scientific names for organisms, please italicize or underline. E.g. WM is most probably a Homo erectus.
