Outing to Johor Premium Outlet – 13th Jan 2013
Dear all,
I am organizing an outing to the nearby Johor Premium Outlet on the 13th Jan 2013 (Sunday).
Since the CNY is coming and just to have a last shopping break before we all work hard for year 2013, I supposed this is a good time to go where it’s still not too packed to shop around.
I aim to keep a healthy group of 5 to 10 cars since this is my first time organizing an outing in the BMW forum.
Objective of the outing?
Just for gathering and socializing.
For the fun of driving and travelling in groups and over the 2nd link and away from our busy city for half a day.
What is so good about JPO (Johor Premium Outlet)?
Of course is the cheaper price for the branded stuffs we normally purchased in SG,
Thou not all items are valued for money, I do recommend yourself to do your homework in SG before going over to shop.
I personally found that Polo, Levis, Lacoste, G2000, Nike, Pedro have items cheaper than same items found in SG. As for other brands, please feel free to explore.

As for the journey which i planned, mostly highway and easy to navigate
Parking and Security at JPO
Large parking area where we can all park together in a group
Security guard rounds our car while we shop
List of items to prepare:
-Car in good working condition (serviced, good brakes, correct air pressure)
-Valid passport
-Some dollars SGD and RM and credit cards
-Touch & Go card (if don’t have then pay RM at toll)
-Mobile phone that is fully charged. (Have auto roam service if possible)
-GPS if needed to.
-Petrol tank at ¾ tank when going to Tuas check point
-Sun glasses
Safety aspect and Emergency contact

I have successfully organized outings in other forums to places like:
-Desaru for banana boat and jet ski fun
-Sungai Ringet for Lobster dinner
-Afamosa for villa stay and resort fun
-KL and Genting for games and amusement park
-Muar for Otah followed by Malacca for shopping and seafood in Jonker street
I am also conversant of the route to JPO as I have been there personally a few times myself.

10.30am - Safety brief conducted by Aaron followed by set off. (map, emergency contact list provided by organizer)
11.30am - Estimated time of arrival
1pm – lunch break at food court and restaurants in JPO (Own Time Own Target)
3pm – end of outing at JPO, Return to SG via Tuas or JB (u may choose to leave early, just keep me informed)
Part 2 (for those who wanna continue to follow me)
4pm – KSL shopping centre
8pm – seafood dinner
10pm – wash car, petrol, go home via woodlands
12 mid night – home on bed after bath.
