Short of visiting a BMW factory, you are probably not going to see so many BMWs in the same place, much less an entire fleet of their flagship 7-series limousine.
But parked right here in Singapore, waiting for the International Monetary Fund and World Bank meets happening next week, is that very fleet.
There were some 545 BMW saloons handed over to the organisers of the meetings yesterday, but we only got to stand among the army of 451 BMW 730Li (not that we could tell the difference). The rest of the vehicles to be used are 53 5-series and 41 3-series saloons.

There was an article in the papers yesterday that said amongst this fleet are a couple of bullet proof 745....dunno will they be sold after the IMF meet or not.

Wahaha.. all these 7 series are sold already, all at some discount, over the past 6 months or so i think. The owner have to return them to PML during this period of time for IMF use. Not very good deal i think considering the chauffers may anyhow wack the cars But having been used to chauffer the delegates also quite a plus point.

As for special plates.. Never see the SAA ones running anymore. So might be the same for these IMF plates, all will be taken down after the event

know of a guy who bought the IMF 7 series, his car now use by the event, so the guy's chauffer have to drive a toyota collora to fetch him work during this period heard discount $20K ??
