Some of you may already that I have made and installed a device that allows the activation of Sports Mode on the steptronic transmission without having to push the gear lever to the left. The activation is done by pulling on both the paddle shift at the same time and deactivation is done by pulling both again or pushing the gear lever out of "Drive". This device has been installed mostly on the E46 but have also been installed on the E39 and also E60.
I have now made a new version that is supposed to be compatible to the E90 and newer cars like the 1 Series. I say supposed because I have not tested it on the car yet.
Thus the purpose of this thread...
I'm looking for a E90 and 1 Series (E87?) as a "project" car to test the device on. If you are keen let me know. If you are keen to see it work in person a meeting can be arrange or we can meet at this Sunday's meetup.
