The entire steering wheel face (including the metal inserts) was taken from the stock steering wheel and fitted onto the M3 steering wheel.
Yes, there are 2 different M3 steering wheels, with and without the holes at the back.

acupunch - i have the one with the paddle cutouts as in the pic below. its about 6 weeks old. if i get a decent offer i will let it go because i'm thinking of upgrading to the performance steering with the led readouts....
the link to the vendor is below along with the current new pricing of the wheel i have

kuvesh, I'm not yet sure if I would want the one with paddle. cos my current 320i don't have any. if too much modification to do to get the paddle shift to work I'll jus get the one without paddle. cos I don't like the ideas to mess with electrical. btw, you're letting go with the airbag or without?

Not difficult bro!
Just get the M3 DCT steering complete with airbag from me & install at J4C.
So far 5 bros oready running this.....so sweet!

That's his pre-sale technique, so when he gives you a quote you'd know that he actually put alot of work into it...
