Paint protection system?

Hi all, i was recommended a paint protection system by a friend. would need your comments on it.
Company is called 3mendouz shine, located @ bukit batok crescent.
As my ride is just 2 months old, i intend to send it in for paint protection to seal in the shine.

Any comments or other recommendations of paint protection jobs would be highly appreciated.

Hi, tried 3mendouz when I first got my car. It helps to protect your car body by coating it with a layer of teflon, so stuff like bird shit can be sprayed off easily. However, the shine is not as good as some "real" waxes and it certainly doesn't last 18 or even 12 months. Try 6 months instead.

Toughseal is very expensive though...it will probably cost u 400 and above for your 320 :yikess:

yup, that's what i tot. went to the website, quoted $488 for the package.
what u reckon guys? anyone went to toughseal before?

i tried TS...

...my personal opinion,...its overhyped and with that kinda money, one would have better off doing more regular polishing....

....ask around for more before jumping in and good luck!

If you like to DIY, I would recommend you to try

(1) Collinite paste-based 476 wax
or
(2) Collinite liquid based 845 wax

I have tried both and both are very good wax

If you are keen to purchase go to mycarforum and look for Maddriver (Benny).

hi BMWSILVER, yes i read so much about your car detailing threads!
Was a pity i couldnt make it last sunday for the car detailing session in amk.
couple of questions, need your advise.. .
i'm a usual wash and go person, but would like to keep my ride "kilat kilat" no less, haha
Can u recommend me a good shampoo and a quick detailer after the wash pls?
some Fk425 i read somewhere too?
Basically wash and then some easy aquawax or something?

Hi ! klim milk.

If you are those wash and go person.

Then I recommend you to get
1 - Wash/Dry - Duragloss #901 (Lots of foamy suds)
2 - Quick Detailer - FK425 or Duragloss 921

Once you are free, layer your car with Collinite 476 wax (This wax is very lasting).

I am amatuer in detailing too. If you are free, go join the detailing session organise by Maddriver (Benny). He will guide you along on how to detail your car.

You can get Duragloss #901, Duragloss #921 and Collinite 476 from Benny (96698006). Please call him........but these are hot items and always no stock

I have not try Aquawax, so I cannot comment on this product.
