PDC (parking sensor) failure

Hi does anyone ever experience PDC failure before? i had this problem but on intermittent frequency...any advice? thanks

It could be juz loose socket.

Have you checked whether all of them emit the "click-click" sound?

Do so by switching to standby (do not start engine) engage R gear, go out and listen closely to all the ultrasound sensors.

If the sensor has slightly softer clicking sound, it's dying; if the sensor has totally no clicking sound, it's completely dead.

I've replaced mine on my E39 before.

HI about to collect '08 730Li but upon checkng the PDC the sensors works fine, however the graphic doesnt comes up on the LCD. Anyone knows how to trouble shoot?

was thinking how to engage R when the car is not started? I thought its locked at P?

Ha...na its just been deactivated ...was sorted out
