Petrol consumption F10 535

I read somewhere that the F10 was supposed to be more fuel efficient than the E60, can't recall where. 1,400km in on the 535, I'm clocking 7.2km/l, which is hardly any savings from my old 530 that's been chipped up, cat converter off and sprint-booster on! It would be worse after the same mods, no?

Any 535 owners getting better mileage?

My F10 523i is clocking 8km/l. 60 hw / 40 city . So yours just about right.

my last top up.....9.95km/L...sharp improvement form 8km/L and 8.3km/L earlier on...but engine not fully run in...still at 1400km....I only pump V power. 70% on highway(CTE/SLE mostly) and 30% city.

But yes....drive this kind of car want to worry abt FC might as well dont buy or get the lexus CT200H(heard the FC is unbelieveably gd)

We buy i6L engine is only to hear refine strawberry sound track... screw the fc haha. The more u rev... the better u feel.

I think it depends on your driving pattern. Do you drive in normal or sport mode? So far I average about 8.5-9km/l for the whole tank. Mostly normal with occasional revving in sport mode. On the highway I can average 12.5-13km/l if i maintain 95-100km/h.

The number of times I go pump petrol depends on whether my gf is free or not and whether my wife believes my petrol tank empty

My F10 523i gives 7.2km/L... 90% City & CBD drive... I also think that Shell V-Power gives more mileages...

My M averages 5.6km/lit all city driving and I use sport+ all the time.

Dunno about consumption but vPower seem to make cold start rough, so I use Techron.

My 523i is the same. It hovers around 8 km/l.

Apparently, PML says that you can get 9-11km/l... which I think is a little unrealistic unless you're driving around the airport tarmac all day.

Hitmee is right, price to pay for strawberry ride. You can go 15km/ltr on a Corolla but the ride is like bumboat. Each time you hear your exos roar from stationary is $0.50, car move off is $0.50. Within less than 10m, traffic light stop, another $0.50,,and so on...then u see Hitmee and u flick lighted cigarette at his canvas roof and zoom off using your twin turbo cos hitmee audi sissy ride cannot catch up is $5.00. But feeling is strawberry yoghurt with topping

Bro, you like the Sports mode? I've always kept mine on normal. Just wondered if you preferred the extra punchiness.

Love the sports mode. Use it for quick over taking and racing sonata taxis.
